Neck Cream Requisites

neck creams need to be specific to the areaIt is completely common to see any and all moisturizers or skin creams claiming themselves to be a great product for the neck area. The problem with any of the best moisturizer products on the table, is that they fail to address the very precise differences that Neck Creams have over any other cream. This page is intended to point out those major differences to you, so that you can decifer the best neck creams from all the imitators.

  1. Concentration on DEEP inset wrinkles.   Basically any cream that claims that it also works on fine lines, eye wrinkles, and other target wrinkles that occur on “thin skinned” areas of the face or body, simply can NOT also be effective on the deep set wrinkles of the neck area, without being a dramatic overkill on the eye wrinkles.  The reason is that the wrinkles of the neck are much deeper, the skin is looser (which makes the problem worse), and the neck is much more prone to sun damage, especially on the back of the neck.   When you’re looking for a TRUE neck cream, make sure that it makes no claims as anything other than being for the neck area.  Skip any so-called neck cream that tries to do double-time as an eye cream or something like that.
  2. Attention to sun spots.  Make sure that the neck cream you look into has some type of ingredient that attacks the discolorations of age or sun spots.  The reason for this is that the neck and v-zone area of the chest are extremely prone to sun damage, due to their constant exposure.  The vast majority of creams that claim to work on the neck have completely neglected the aspect of the neck which is discoloration from sun damage.  A true neck cream will address more than the deep wrinkles, but also the other signs of aging that are exhibited on the neck.
  3. Firming and tightening.  The main complaint that consumers make when discussing their neck problems is that the skin is too loose and saggy.  The term “turkey neck” came from somewhere, after all.  Most common skin creams might target fine lines, wrinkles, or even take a shot at fixing age spots.  However, if a cream does all of that, AND has an agent that tightens and firms loose skin, it can separate itself from the pack and become the main player in the “neck” arena.  Ingredients like Sesaflash, which tighten instantly on neck skin as well as provide deep, long term moisture are truly important to any cream designated for the “neck area”.

I don’t see a reason to point out Moisturization as another key aspect of a neck cream.  Yes, it is vital and important, but every cream who dares to show their face in the marketplace has ingredients in it that moisturizes the skin.  The main thing to focus on, is if a cream can moisturize and also accomplish and satisfy the three focal points that I highlighted above.

I hope that after reading this article, you can determine a true neck cream from the rest of the “normal creams” that just promise to work on the neck, in addition to their other jobs on the face or eyes.   Keep an eye out for the ingredient characteristics that I discuss here, and your upcoming purchases will be much more satisfactory.

Thanks  for reading this page, and have a great day.  Good luck in shopping for neck cream.
